HTRS will not have school tomorrow, Wednesday February 26. We are hosting the Pioneer Conference Speech Competition. This is a makeup event.
The Titan Cheerleaders competed at Nebraska State Cheer this past Friday and are coming home with a 4th place in Non Tumbling and the Academic Excellence Award for a team high GPA. The girls had a blast and were very happy to receive zero deductions in their routines. Tuesday the junior high girls' basketball team will take on Pawnee City in Humboldt at 2 p.m. A-team will play first followed by B-team (2 Quarters). This is a rescheduled game from earlier this month. Go Titans!

Two freshmen received awards in the Annual Women's Club Art Show and Contest. The show is on display in the Stalder Gallery in Falls City. In the color drawing category, Rayna R. and Eden D. both received Honorable Mention. (Eden D. got two of her color drawings recognized with Honorable Mention.) In the printmaking category, Eden D. received 2nd Place.


The junior high girls' basketball game with Lewiston has been rescheduled for 3/3/25 at Lewiston. A team will start at 1 p.m. followed by B team.
As the Nebraska Legislature is looking at limiting cell phone use in school HTRS is welcoming area parents to join us for regarding safety concerns our children face. On March 3 between the hours of 7:00 to 8:00 pm, the Nebraska Department of Education's Director of School Safety and Security will be doing a presentation for parents on the negative impact digital platforms, social media and apps can have a child's well being.

Tonight the Lady Titans defeated the Lady Jets in the first round of action in sub-districts. The Titans will take on Sacred Heart in the sub-district final Thursday at 5 p.m. in Falls City. The game was originally scheduled for 7 p.m. but is being moved up to 5 p.m. due to the weather. Go Titans!

Thursday the junior high girls will travel to Falls City to take on Sacred Heart at 2 p.m. This is a time change due to the sub-district final time change. Go Titans!
