Yesterday, a few of our younger FFA members had the opportunity to participate in AgVenture Day put on by the UNL Ag Education Students and Kimmel Orchard. They attended 3 sessions including Entrepreneurship, Bees and Soil. They gave business pitches, made candles out of bees wax and made dirt cups on the layers of soil. Two of our teams even won the business pitch competition. Each team won $100 to help start their businesses!
