Driver Education will take place June 1–4 from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM each day and will include a working lunch. Students are required to attend all 20 hours of classroom instruction and will complete 12 hours of driving time, which includes driving and observing another student driver. A driving schedule will be arranged with Mr. Dunekacke at a later date.

Students must be 14 years old by October 15, 2026 to be eligible to participate. Students are encouraged to obtain their Learner’s Permit as soon as possible, as a permit is required in order to receive the driving waiver.

Cost:

$200 for HTRS students

$250 for non-HTRS students

Payment can be made at the HTRS main office or by sending a check made payable to HTRS Schools with “Driver Ed” written in the memo line.

Students will not be officially enrolled until payment is received.
