Today, the junior high quiz bowl team placed 4th in the silver division at the ESU 4 Quiz Bowl at Peru State College. Team members from left to right: Zander Lambrecht, Tate Dunekacke, Jesse Bachmann, Ellisyn Herr, Brittyn Monarrez, and Ava Shupp.

The Nebraska School Activities Association and the Nebraska State College System have announced the 15,246 recipients of the 2025–2026 Nebraska State Colleges Multi-Activity Student Award! 👏

This award recognizes high school students who participate in at least three NSAA-sanctioned activities during the school year—showcasing their dedication, hard work, and school involvement.

We are proud of our HTRS students who have earned this honor through their commitment both in and out of the classroom!

On April 4th each year, National School Librarian Day recognizes the professionals who keep the school library in working order. School librarians spend long hours keeping the library organized. They are also dedicated to helping our children find the resources they need to keep learning. Thank you, Mrs. Kappel!

Next week, the baseball team participates in the WOW Woodbat Tournament. Games will be played in the St. Jo, MO area.
