Students voted for state officers, and participated in breakout sessions including: Growth Mindset, AI for Career Success, Self-Advocacy and Building a Team that Rocks. In addition, students were able to hear from some amazing guest speakers including Omaha Mayor, John Ewing Jr; and Dr. Joe DiCostanzo, Vice President of the Omaha Child and Families Foundation.





Have you ever wanted to see what the military is all about? Well...our JAG students participated in 'Marine for a Day' in Lincoln. Jacob Davis, Kameon Dettmann and Kiylee Cooper completed several physical fitness challenges and an obstacle course. Kameon completed the course first out of 80 students! The US Marine recruiters talked about various jobs available and they tried MREs.




The HTRS One-Act will perform “With Regard to Cooper Clawson’s Conscience” by Bryan Starchman.
Come enjoy an evening of delicious desserts and great student performances!

On Friday, grades 7-12 had their Positive Celebration Assembly. Students were recognized for their attendance, being a positive peer, getting published and etc. Also, the cheerleaders and various staff members performed Thriller for entertainment. What a great day!

HTRS had 10 students ribbon at Land Judging last week. There were almost 300 students at the contest. To receive a ribbon you had to be in the top 25%.
Receiving a Blue ribbon: Izzy Standerford
Receiving a Red ribbon: Eden Stewart & Jack Hilgenfeld
Receiving a White ribbon: Kiylee Cooper, Bailee Schmit, Colt Leech, Harlee Hardesty, PJ Howe, Chloe Shupp, and Camryn Vaughan.
Congrats to all that went, they all did a great job!
