Duties: Include, but are not limited to, planning, organizing, supervising and participating in the preparation, cooking, baking, and serving of a variety of foods in quantity.  Responsible for ordering food and supplies; operate commercial kitchen equipment and appliances.  Responsible for following the nutrition guidelines associated with the Nebraska Nutrition Services lunch program and training requirements. 

Qualifications: Associate’s degree or equivalent educational experience, with academic major in specific areas with 1 year of relevant food service experience or High school diploma (or GED) and at least 3 years of institutional food service experience.

Benefits: Starting pay is $18.00/ hour with a 10 month contract. Benefits include District paid Family Health and Dental insurance. Employee Vision coverage is also included.

Work involves a variety of custodial tasks including but not limited to routine cleaning and light maintenance work and working evening events.  and they may be scheduled to work during the day or at night. Work is generally performed in accordance with established procedures, but specific instructions may be given for unusual problems or situations.
