Tidbits From the “Title Team”

Take a look at the enclosed insert called Recipes for Success. Within the “Math” section, the March issue includes a fun way to work on multiplication facts. Find this fun activity under the heading Rock, Paper, Math Facts! Your student might also enjoy doing the activity this month in the “Character Corner” section. Through this learning activity, students and parents can talk about the importance of honesty, teamwork, and grit! These are just a few of the many activities; there are so many more to explore!

Receive an Extra Titan Ticket! If you and your child complete one or more of the activities on the Recipes for Success insert, please sign and have your child return the insert to their classroom teacher to receive an extra Titan Ticket! Additionally, your child’s name will be entered into a drawing for a book.

The “Title Team” is excited to begin the 2018-2019 school year, our 3rd year as part of HTRS’ Schoolwide Title I program. As a reminder, a Title I Schoolwide program allows the school to address the educational needs of children living in impoverished communities with comprehensive strate-gies for improving the entire school so every student achieves high levels of academic proficiency. Schoolwide programs serve ALL children in a school. All staff, resources, and classes are part of the overall Schoolwide program.
